"Until the 1970s, Sungai Lembing was a major producer of underground tin . Sungai Lembing town developed in the 1880's when the British set up the tin mining industry, although the history of mining in this area extends much further back. From 1891, the Pahang Consolidated Company Limited, (PCCL), which was under British control, had a 77-year lease to mine the area. PCCL managed the mine from 1906 until its liquidation in 1986 when world tin prices collapsed. The pit mines were closed in 1986 due to high operational costs and low yields, but during their heyday they were among the largest and deepest in the world. The total tunnel length is 322 km, with a depth of between 610 m and 700 m."

Brader Haizal mintak tlg aku snap sekeping dua gambar kt dlm tunnel nie. Pening kepala aku jp pk camner laa aku nk shoot ni. Gelap giler beb. Aku pun decide nk try light painting, nasib baik aku bwk skalik tripod lidi aku, hehehe. Pic by brader DJ.
Ni salah satu hasil light painting. Drpd gelap tak nampak aper, kira ok ar ni, nampak la tunnel nyer, kan. Tunnel ni dh x bley pakai dh, coz dh naik air.
Ni plak tangga menuju ke bilik engine lift (lebey kurang ar, aku main letak jer namer ni). haa, ader lift beb, giler. Ni pun aku shoot pakai light painting technique. Pic ni kureng sharp coz tripod lidi aku kureng stabil, n aku pun dh agak kureng stabil dh time ni, pancit.
Lepas naik tangga, jumper la area ni. Ni la bilik engine lift dier. lift kt tingkat bwh (dekat2 area tangga nk naik atas). Kt atas ni dulu derang letak engine/machine/equipment nk tarik/turun lift. Lift tu akan bwk pekerja2 lombong turun/naik sedalam 700 m. perghhhh.. Again shoot using light painting technique.
Kebanyakan sistem tunnel kt lombong dh tak bley nk pakai lg sbb tanah runtuh n dinaiki air. Ari tu pun aku dpt g sampai 520m jer. tp tu pun lelah gk la aku. :)
